I am attempting to download patch 4.2, but i am having issues with the "downloading updated tools" part of the download.

The bar only moves the tiniest amount (if at all) until it stops for about 5 minutes, after that, i get a pop-up saying that "Failed to download information about the next patch. Check your network connection." There is nothing wrong with my network connection, my internet is not slow at all and it is running fairly quickly.

I have had this pop-up every thime i try to run the launcher and i don't know how to resolve this. I have tried opening wow through the program files, and then log in, however the downloading update screen gets to about 4 or 5% and the stops.

I hope someone can shed some light on this situation for me. Thanks.

Rebooted comupter now, still the error message pops up...
