Mogtaur | Screen glitches and fps dropsTue, 24. Jan. 2012 22:01 GMT Ok, after a patch, i've been experiencing fps issues. I tried lowering graphic resolution to total minimum, but these 1 second freezes are still there. I then went and reinstalled the whole computer, everything from the scratch, installed new graphic card driver, and everything required. The freeze is still there. Basically what happends, is when i'm turning around with my character, be it left or right, untill i stop rotating my mouse, the fps seem to drop to 0 for a second then jump to 60. Freezing the picture for a second or two untill i stop rotating. Sometimes i just goes nice, but then randomly freezes for a second when while i'm turning around. Also when opening the MAP, the game seems to freeze in map mode, and after 10 seconds unfreezes again. Allowing me to continue! It's quite annoying not having it run smooth. Sometimes it's unplayable. And there are times when the screen is frozen for few minutes, then unfreezes. If this continues i'll be forced to stop playing, because this is just not enjoyable. Can anyone tell me, what can be wrong, and what i can do to fix this issue, so it can run smooth? |

Also it might be a good idea to run a full Scandisk and Defrag on the hard drive where you have the game installed: http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/how-do-i-defrag-and-check-my-hard-drive-for-errors If that doesn't help, next I'd be curious to try the game in OpenGL mode: http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/using-opengl-no-sound-and-windowed-mode And let us know what happens? |
