SLOW download speeds (Reinstallation)Sun, 29. Jan. 2012 16:01 GMT

Treated myself to a new computer last week and obviously had to install my games again, battlefield and SWTOR downloaded fine, at great speeds... Then I tried to install WoW, used the download client on battle.net to begin with, after opening ports etc the patching process was really slow, so I uninstalled and installed using the disc, after doing so I realised this was not the trouble, and at a download speed of 13kbs It's literally going to take weeks, even over a month to download... Tried most suggestions and none seem to work, so any advice at all would be good please?

Even annoying thing is Blizzard screwed me over with that year subscription contract and I can't even play the game that I'm contracted to pay for, f-ing annoying if you ask me. :(

Hello,

Can you please try the downloader when Windows is in Safe Mode with Networking:
http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/how-do-i-boot-the-computer-in-safe-mode

If that doesn't help, on the Launcher can you go to Options at the top, then Downloader preferences and then un-tick both this option:
Enable Peer-to-Peer Transfer
