For about 10 days now I have been having a weird issue with battle.net and my connection.

While playing WoW and Starcraft I get Disconnected from battle.net. Sometimes I get immediately reconnected but if not it stays this way. This happens only between 15:00-19:00 GMT.

Even though it is annoying not being able to see my real friends list and other battle.net services in-game it gets more annoying by the fact that when there are issues connecting to battle.net I cannot log in WoW at all if I am not already connected. The launcher doesn't open at all and pops a message that it was unable to obtain patch information and if I open directly the game client it stucks at connecting.

The problem exists in both my pcs and changing modem (3 of them actually) doesn't fix it. It does go away if I connect on my laptop from a friend's house (he has different isp)

Trying to pinpoint the problem I traced my connection with battle.net. When it reaches europe nodes it does a strange loop. It goes Frankfurt->Paris->London->Paris->Frankfurt->Paris to reach the battle.net blizzard server in paris. Also there are big lag spikes in this route. My friend's connection seems to be rather direct going Frankfurt-> Paris directly.

My ISP is OTE in greece and contacting them they repeatidly declined having any problems with abroad connections. This problem is limited only in my connection with battle.net.

I use many other programs that require internet connection and other online games as well and I have no problem with those. Also when that issue started I also had a permanent small increase of my in-game latency (went from average 60 ms on both to about 80 ms )

Is Blizzard in knowledge of any problems with some isp connections to battle.net or I should farther pursue this issue with my isp?
