Iksilon | Priest has freezing problemsSat, 28. Jan. 2012 13:01 GMT As tittle says my priest is having issues with freezing in certain BG's and areas in world. Happens only on this particular character (have 9 more and i checked on 3 everything works fine). Problem is that every time someone cap a flag in AB (defend, attack) i get 1-2 sec freeze, also it seems like it's also doing in short intervals (probably every 7 to 10 sec) a small freeze, it also happens when i am in some larger fights and when i end with TB (aly or horde wins) then i get 3-5 sec freeze. As i said i checked all my other chars and it works fine, tried with low graphic settings it's same and i have other games as well and they worked fine. Tried without addons, again same thing (did same on other chars worked fine). Even tried with Repair WoW and no problems found. This all started a few days ago when i was dueling in front of SW (near the wall) and when i kept running around and changing zone from Elwyin Forest to Valley of Heroes had those freezes. Any clue what's going on and why only on this char? |
![]() Lurdlespor | Priest has freezing problemsSat, 28. Jan. 2012 13:01 GMT Hi there, Can you please try going to your World of Warcraft Data folder, and in there please delete the entire Cache directory. If this was corrupt, it can cause issues with single characters like this, and deleting it forces the data to be re-unpacked and can help. |
![]() Lurdlespor | Priest has freezing problemsSat, 28. Jan. 2012 14:01 GMT I know you mention removing AddOns before, but to make sure the game itself is reset to defaults can you please remove or rename the WTF, Cache and Interface folders found in your World of Warcraft directory? Also, can you try making sure the network configuration is set right? We have a guide to this here: http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/disconnects-unknown-entities-naked-characters-red-s-and-other-strange-things If none of this helps could I please ask you for a DxDiag report: http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/how-do-i-create-dxdiag-and-msinfo-files |
