Keica | Lockin/unlocking ports of WoWWed, 01. Feb. 2012 16:02 GMT I realize there has been like thousand posts concerning this part but they never concerned me up to this moment. As I've always had problems with firewall which slowed my download to 200kbps I decided to start checking out for possibilities to get rid of that problem. I have windows 7 and went into standard windows firewall and unlocked all ports of WoW (which from most of them were old like hell concerning patches 3.0+) and from that moment when I restarted launcher it simply... crashes my internet connection (after 2 mins of downloading with speed 100-150kbps) so I have to restart my computer and then it works fine again untill I start WoW launcher. To fix this I tried to turn off all the ports, changed name of WoW folder so it has to ask me again - it did but even after turning off all old ports and making new ones the result was still the same. I'd appreaciate any advice besides reinstalling WoW or formating my computer. Edit: Up to this moment I realised that even after turning off windows firewall it still doesn't work as it should so I thought maybe removing current progress in downloading of patch 4.3.2 and doing it all over again would help but... I cannot find files responsible for patching. |
