Sockanshaman | Serious FP-Lagg on good rig. (DXDIAG & Msinfo)Sun, 05. Feb. 2012 19:02 GMT Hello there lads, to start off, I wrote a 2000-letters ticket but somehow it didn't end up under my tickets... So I am a bit bugged off right now but I will make best in describing the problems. Also providing wow error log, DXDIAG and MsInfo. my rig is as follows: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2,833ghz (3078Mhz OC'D, about 60 degrees/core) Asus P5Q-Pro XFX Radeon 6870 overclocked 950/1200 core/mem and tweaked voltage. Cooled after that. 8gb DDR2 mems 800mhz Corsair FORCE3 SSD 120gb Western Digital 7200RPM 500gb Another HDD 2tb 7200rpm Legit Windows 7 64-bit OEM professional However, on almost the very same rig I used to have ALOT more fps. I used to have a GTX285 FTW Edition /w backplate that was WC'D and clocked.. And only 4gb mems.. And with this I pulled out a bit between 200-700FPS on all the lowest settings outside Dalaran. (Ran with 2 displays here aswell) Now, Right now, I stand with 21 FPS in the middle of org.. And that with these settings: Triple buff: OFF reduce input lagg: OFF Hardware Cursor ON Graphics API DX11 UI scale 1.0 and no max FPS set. 1920x1200 Reso in Windowed mode. (doesn't make difference with fullscreen..) 75hz refresh 1x multisampling vsync ON Texture Resolution HIGH Texture filtering 8x Anisotropic Projected Texture ENABLED. (Doesn't make difference on/off) View distance HIGH Enviroment detailt HIGH Ground Clutter HIGH shadow quality LOW liquid detail LOW sunshafts HIGH particle density HIGH Gpu used only 5-30% and CPU 40-60% and mem 3,62gb/8gb... Gpu temp: 51*C cpu temp: 57 59 60 56 *C Windows, wow and PAGE is on the SSD drive.. about 40gbs left of use.. Got latest drivers for GPU, Catalyst 12.1 (7.14.10.0887, installed yesterday) Bios for Mobo was updated 2009/02 sometime with American Megatrends Inc. 2102 SMBIOS version 2.5 .. Now, Techs, It's up to you to solve this please! I have no Idea what it is. I will post the DXDIAG, MSINFO and Wow Error log under here! (NOTICE THOUGH: WOW ERROR REPORT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS, IT SAID I WAS LOW ON MEMORY BUT THAT WAS OF SOME SORT OF BUG, I RESTARTED AND IT WAS BACK TO 1,72GB IDLE, BACK THEN IT WAS 6,8GB IDLE!! IT'S SORTED OUT NOW!!) ALSO, I am running the X64-bit version of WOW. Edit: I now run wow with the same FPS I run BF3 with on high/ultra.. |

Feb. 2012 10:02 GMT Hello, First of all bear in mind that we cannot provide technical assistance if you are running the game on overclocked hardware. Also, the 64bit version of World of Warcraft is currently unsupported. If you need technical assistance, please set your CPU and GPU to stock speed, run the 32bit version of World of Warcraft without addons, feel free to start a new thread and then provide an updated DxDiag report. Thank you. Thread locked as posts concerning the 64bit version of World of Warcraft should be published here: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3312962371 |
