Terrible latency problems since 4.3.2.Wed, 01. Feb. 2012 17:02 GMT

Since i applied this patch and the 'Optimization' blizzard calls it i've gone from 20 to 24ms average in raids to 1200ms in arenas/bg's.

I've also noticed that i've got a chat delay of around 2 seconds when i'm hovering around 30 while doing nothing.

I've called up my ISP, they say the problem lies with blizzard, which i believe due to nothing else having this much of a delay, not on the second computer i own, nor while browsing heavy-load sites.

My internet connection also completely breaks down whenever i exit / close wow.exe, be it by doing it properly via logging out or forcing the process to close.

I'd like a proper fix for this ASAP. since this is really hurting my progress with the guild i'm currently in.

Hello,

The Optimisation process does not affect your ability to play the game lag-free. The trace route report you kindly posted to this thread does not show any signs of latency, did you produce it whilst experiencing the alleged 1200ms lag in Arena and Battlegrounds?

I would also appreciate if you could provide a pathping report whilst experiencing in-game latency. Instructions on how to produce said report are available here:
http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/how-do-i-create-a-pathping-to-a-world-of-warcraft-realm

Lastly, you will need to install the latest Service Pack for your operating system:

Thank you.
