Sakkie | Game keeps downloading in backgroundSat, 04. Feb. 2012 09:02 GMT Hey, I have today copied a WOW from a friend since i could not download the 1.2GB that it asked me for. the problem is now that upon running the launcher it started downloading a patch asking for 900 MB. Now. If i run the normal wow exe. i get straight into the game but it downloads data in the background. It says it has Downloaded 94% of the data and it hasnt gone to 95 % now in the last 2 hours. It has already downloaded 100 MB of additional data. I know that i will get a response that it is downloading data that i still need ect, so all i want to know is , if any1 else experienced this and for how long can i expect this to carry on? Will it download the 900 MB in the background now as before in the launcher? Also, How was none of this optimization stuff tested beforehand by blizzard as Wow was working fine Before the optimization., and afterwards we have to download half the game again to be able to play. Not everyone has uncapped and we cannot afford to Download this ammount of data. I have ran repairs and all the other stuff suggested before. Is it impossible for blizzard to remove this optimisation stuff or atleast make it optional? |

Feb. 2012 09:02 GMT Hi there, You do not need to download the game again in order to play, this is only happening when the optimisation process is interrupted or is going awry due to being blocked in some way. What happens if you let the Launcher finish downloading the 900mb? |
