Water is reflected both upwards and downwards in maxed out water on OS X. This happens irrespectable of hardware. Heavily modified Mac Pro1,1 - sure. MacBook Pro Ultimo 2011 15", sure. My very own Hackintosh? Sure. It's a bug in your program/OpenGL. Please look into it. I can send you some system infos but really, I doubt you need them.
