In the five or six years I've been casually playing WoW, I've never really had any technical problems other than sometimes being disconnected - which usually resolves itself, and a few in-game issues which GMs have kindly helped me with through support tickets.

So why should I, let alone all of us, be forced to sit through this optimization process when WoW has been running fine for me? I just want to install the patch, get online and play.. I don't need anything optimized.
