If during the patch update process your game client wants to download an excessive amount of data, please be aware that this issue is most likely caused by not running World of Warcraft via the Launcher.exe application file located in the game folder. If your game client is not fully up-to-date, please make sure that you always run the game through the Launcher. I did that, still 15G. What do I do now? Tried running background downloader, also as admin. Ran launcher, also as admin. Ran updater, also as admin. Ran repair. Anyone got any ideas? |

Feb. 2012 14:02 GMT Hi there, If the download is still requesting this download size, you may need to let it complete, as it's not recognising your installed data and is instead having to download the post-optimisation data directly. You may however be able to work around this by reinstalling the game from the Cataclysm DVD, and then patching from there. |
