Zaite | Random disconnections since patch 4.3.2Fri, 03. Feb. 2012 11:02 GMT I'm seeing random disconnections since 4.3.2. There's also a growing thread on the US forums about this issue. People in my guild have been complaining about it also. Any updates? |

Feb. 2012 12:02 GMT Hello there, The first thing we need to do is reset the game to defaults, can you please rename or remove the WTF, Cache and Interface folders from your World of Warcraft directory. If you still experience this issue, please go to the Options menu on the login page, choose the Network tab and then disable the option Optimize Network for Speed If this issue persists, please can you reply back with the following information: ISP : Town and Country : Network Adapter Make and Model : Modem/Router Make and Models : And a path ping to your realm: http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/how-do-i-create-a-pathping-to-a-world-of-warcraft-realm |

I'm afraid you're wrong :) Although the Technical Support team does not handle/debug/fix in-game bugs, we do forward any relevant information to our developers. As you surely understand, we cannot pass reports such as "I'm disconnecting, FIX IT NOW" on to our developers; this is the reason as to why we need you, the players, to provide us with as much information as possible. This is also the reason as to why we need our players to test the game on properly managed computers (updated drivers, good connection etc) and without addons. Our developers are aware of the disconnection issues a few players seem to be experiencing; I'm however unable to disclose any additional information, as of now :) Thank you for your understanding and please feel free to update this thread with clear and relevant information on how to reproduce the alleged (disconnection) bug. |
