As the game starts to try to apply updates, it instantly says that my game installation has been damaged and that I should repair the game: http://i41.tinypic.com/2hxqf5g.png I have repaired the game at least 10 times now, still getting this issue. Any solution to this that isn't a complete reinstall of the game? Since that would take hours and hours... Thanks for any help! |
 Lurdlespor | Patch issue when "applying updates"Sat, 04. Feb. 2012 09:02 GMT Hi there, If you're receiving the message 'Your game instalaltion is damaged', please follow these steps: 1. Navigate to your World of Warcraft folder 2. Run the Repair program 3. Run the program BackgroundDownloader (as an Administrator on Vista and Windows 7) for around 30 seconds 4. Run the Launcher (as an Administrator) This may initiate a large download, however after this download has completed the game should work again. Instead, you can try to reinstall the game. At the moment the quickest way to reinstall would be to use the Cataclysm DVD if available. Please see if this helps. |
