Lilpenguin | Starting WoW brings my GPU OC settings to defaultMon, 06. Feb. 2012 00:02 GMT Hey! Got an weird situation here, i've started to overclock my CPU and GPU in order to get a sligthly better berformance in raids (especially in those AoE fest fights as a healer..), i've gotten to the point where my CPU is clocked to 3.85 Ghz X6, which is not the ultimate OC but it suits me (AMD BE T1100 3.3 Ghz). Now for my GPU, i've watched videos and read forums on how much other people has been able to OC their cards (Asus Nvidia GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores). So i started slowly clocking it and got to a point where i get GPU Clock: 810Mhz Memory: 1000Mhz and Shaders: 1620Mhz, now again i could go higher but that's not the point here. I've tested that setup with furmark without any artifacts or other errors, also played skyrim just fine without any problems. But then I start wow and the problems start. I can logon just fine and select my character, but when i get in the game itself I see orgrimmar for like 10 seconds and then it goes black and flashes back to the game again. I wont get dc'd or anything but the GPU clocks has been resetted to defaults if i check it with GPU-Z. Anyone got any idea whre the problem might be? Thanks in advance ! |
