Feb. 2012 13:02 GMT Dear community, Is there an expected file reduction quota -reported from Blizz or otherwise -that we could expect from the Optimisation patch? My WoW folder is still sitting pretty at 23.0 GB on my SSD -before and after the patch; excluding screenshots and addons. I was hoping [the Optimisation patch] would save a few GB -in reality, expecting a few hundred MB -but so far I've seen no difference. ~Force |

Feb. 2012 14:02 GMT Hi there, The reoptimisation may not decrease folder size in all situations, it really depends on a few variables, like how long you've had the game installed, how many patches it's experienced, did you install the older expansions etc. If you reinstalled fairly recently, for example, the game won't have to clean up as many older files or patches, and as such you may not see much of a size decrease in folder size, or any at all. |
