Feb. 2012 22:02 GMT Hey there, My university blocks p2p processing so I cannot torrent anything or download the latest WoW updates or patches. The problem I have is that I cannot select to turn off allowing p2p because as soon as I open WoW it automatically brings up an error box saying "failed to download information about the next patch. Check your network connection". When I click OK it exits the program. Is there a way that I can get around this so that I can get the patch downloaded without using p2p? Help would be much appreciated! |

Feb. 2012 09:02 GMT Hello, Although you may safely disable the Launcher's Peer-to-Peer feature via the Options -> Downloader Preferences menu, bear in mind that you might still be unable to connect to our servers. In that case you will need to get in touch with your network administrator to evaluate alternative solutions. |
