Ryrai | Please Help! Blue Screen of Death when playing WoW :(Fri, 03. Feb. 2012 09:02 GMT Hello all. Recently whilst playing WoW I have been getting a "Blue Screen of Death" with the message "System_Service_Exception" and "Page_Fault_In_NonPaged_Area". The errors started a few days ago after my computer crashed whilst playing and the screen went all fuzzy like in this picture: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/39/img1650of.jpg - and I had to turn my computer off by the power button. These errors only occur when playing WoW, if I went on WoW now, within an hour I would get another Blue Screen of Death. I have included a link below to a "Mini Dump" file that was created and saved to my hard drive earlier when the most recent crash occured. System Specs: Operating System: MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1035T 2600MHz RAM: 6.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24) Motherboard: FOXCONN 2AA9 Graphics: 1GB XFX AMD Radeon HD 6870 on an Acer S221HQL (1920x1080@60Hz) Hard Drive: 977GB Hitachi Hitachi HDS721010CLA332 Audio: Realtek High Definition Audio PSU: OCZ Stealth X Stream 2 600W I really hope someone can help me get to the bottom of this as I have no idea what to do :( thanks in advance for any help! EDIT: I have added a link to download my Msinfo and Dxdiag information below. Mini dump link: https://rapidshare.com/files/1376050128/03.02.12_Mini_Dump.zip Msinfo: https://rapidshare.com/files/732599360/msinfo.txt DxDiag: https://rapidshare.com/files/3565567166/DxDiag.txt EDIT 2: All the Msinfo and DxDiag information has been posted below, so you don't need to download them now :) (I can't post the Mini dump information though as it is an unknown file type and unable to be opened, so if anyone knows how to do that or open it to read it I would appreciate it!) Thanks :) |

In order to troubleshoot this BSoD issue, I'd recommend you to download and then install updated drivers for your Realtek HD drivers from the manufacturer's website: http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false Once updated, reboot Windows in Selective Startup mode and make sure that you close any unneeded applications: http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/windows-closing-background-applications Should the issue persist, I'd suggest that you check your RAM modules for errors by running the Prime95 Blend Test for at least 8 hours (or until you receive an error message): http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm |
