Ive read alot of the "support" in these forums, tried what i know and what is suggested, no luck. So i thought i'd share what happened:

It all started with the new patch.
- Started launcher (i never start in wow.exe)
- Game started cleaning up files to make the size of the game smaller (forgot the exact wording of it)
- Was running Avast antivirus (which i uninstalled after reading forums to hopefully fix something)
- Patcher/cleaner (forgot which) went into error, and asked me to repair game.
- Tried wow repair utility, no luck, still the same error even after uninstalling antivirus (windows firewall was already disabled)
- so after reading the forum, a blue said u have to re-install game either through DVD or download it.
- So as a good pupil, I took out my cataclysm DVD and installed again
- Now it required 15gb of download again! Surprise!!
- Fine, the only thing the Blue didnt know was, that my download speed is about 50-100kps, so that takes a while to download.... not only that, the cost of every 4GB is about 35 Euros...
- Anyway, i am now around half way, (8gb remaining)...
- The new problem is, the launcher sais its "playable", but when u click play, it tries to perform "Initial setup of required data files" and gets stuck at 6 bars
- Tried everything, including giving more permissions on the folder (Running Vista) and selective startup in vain.
I cant get into the game now.. and the only way to see if my 70euros of remaining payment will be worth it is by waiting a few days, and praying (gona pray to an evil raid boss to eat this annoying patch!)
