lag, dc's and high msMon, 06. Feb. 2012 03:02 GMT

Hello,

for some time now i'm having allot of DC's and high ms almost all the time.
It's driving me crazy because I can't do anything, i can't raid or do dungeons because it takes freaking 5 seconds to cast a single spell.
Getting random dc's allot too, i have tried the following :

  • starting pc without background progresses running (cmd > msconfig)
  • deleting WTF cache folders etc.
  • Tried running without any addons (renamed the interface folder so i was sure it wasn't an addon issue)
  • Disable 'Optimize network for speed'

out of desperation i even tried making a new account on windows and running wow from there... no difference.

I did a pathping to my realm and this is the result.

Output of 'netstat -n -p tcp -b | more' :
TCP 192.168.1.43:50157 213.248.127.130:1119 ESTABLISHED
[WoW.exe]
TCP 192.168.1.43:50158 195.12.234.189:3724 ESTABLISHED
[WoW.exe]
TCP 192.168.1.43:50159 195.12.235.61:3724 ESTABLISHED
[WoW.exe]

As far as I know my netwerk connection is stable and always has 5(max) bars.
The problem occurs on every character on every realm that i've tried.
Can't really say when this problem started, but before that i had no lag/dc's whatsoever. I think it has been 1-2 weeks of lag and a few days since i started getting dc's all the time

Any help/suggestion is highly appreciated cuz i'm about to lose it....

I'm afraid your home network appears to be troubled as the connection to the router is experiencing latency and packet loss issues.

I'd recommend you to test the game through an Ethernet adapter, if need be you may want to try and play World of Warcraft whilst being connecting directly to the modem or through another router.
