Biblical | Data transer questionTue, 21. Feb. 2012 13:02 GMT Hi all. I will start by saying i am not overly computer literate, i know basics but alot is beyond me. the issue: I am considering replacing my desktop with a lappy. My kid is nearly 2, charging about and having a desk / rig set up is taking up lots of space plus she has noticed the wires.... Initially i had considered a new desktop anyway, plan being to remove the hard drive and install on new rig by someone who knows how - thus i dont have to reinstall / patch. If i get the lappy however i cant do that. I am wondering if it is possible to use an external hard drive to copy the files over. I am figuring i would probably still have to install Wow on the new system but its the patching im trying to avoid. Any ideas ? Thanks for any help. |
