 Katarnas | Very slow loading screensSat, 18. Feb. 2012 10:02 GMT Ever since 4.3.2 my laptop has taken a very long time to load any screens. The game doesn't always crash, but the loading bar reaches about halfway and hangs. Today it was there for 17 minutes before finally loading SFK for the love is in the air boss. The laptop is a dell latitude E6400. It isn't the best ever but I know that it will run wow fine as it has been doing so for the last 2 years without trouble. With settings on low it will even run LFR with no issue. I have deleted the cache and WTF folders (including /data/cache). I only use 3 addons, but I have tried it with those both deleted and totally updated and it make no difference. The network itself is fine as I have 2 desktops on it and they will both run 25s simultaneously with no trouble, but the laptop won't even load into game quickly even when it is the only one using bandwidth. Any suggestions as to how to resolve this issue are welcome :) |
