While I’m afraid we’re not really able to provide an answer as to why those two particular Tailoring patterns require a differing amount of crafting materials, I’ve been looking into the situation and it seems we’ve had another similar report about this and it’s been forwarded on to our QA team for further investigation (and to be checked in order to see whether this may be intended or not).

I shall therefore add your own comments to the ‘open’ case, so to speak, and hopefully they’ll be able to look into the matter at some point in the near future. :)
