Fellow Roleplayers,

Beginning of 2010 we started to work on an idea to create a community site / forum specifically aimed at Defias Brotherhood roleplayers, although we had the realm forum, we wanted to make something where roleplay could stand out, instead of be lost among thousands of non-rp posts, as well as be able to create separate parts for rp guilds and other in-character organizations, both for Horde and Alliance.

Today this forum has grown to have over 900 users and around 60000 posts, with more people joining, and more content posted every day. I’m very happy it came to this and want to thank everyone who has taken part in it to make it our little roleplay home.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the (free) forum host selected at the time, the unavoidable ads ended up showing gold ads on occasion, apparently preventing it from a sticky status. However due to the popularity of our original idea we decided to do something about that. Said ads are now gone, and the Defias Brotherhood RP community site has been stickied on Blizzards, Defias Brotherhood realm forum!


Some of the features of the new site include:

- Tracking upcoming events (and soon past ones)
- Roleplay guides, such as the guide to good and evil.
- Roleplay guild information and recruitment
- Stories written by DB roleplayers
- Artwork, Screenshots, Videos, and so on. (Be sure to go through the screenshots, it’s not just pretty to go through, but whoever said that RP is dead, check how many people you see on there!)
- Easy access to the Defias Brotherhood RP forums

Some things we’re hoping to have implemented in the very near future;

- Have an interactive event calendar to help people plan and find rp events

Obviously we’re always looking for more roleplayers to join us as well as help with their events, stories, or other content. So if you’re planning events, are looking for a sub forum as part of the roleplay forums for your guild, have screenshots of roleplay you want to showcase, or if you want to get into roleplaying with the main roleplaying community on our server, get in touch with us!

Keep in mind that we’re still waiting for some guilds and rp groups to send some of their content, we’ll continue to fill in more content daily.
