Seivad | Things that could enhance RP!Sun, 10. Apr. 2011 00:04 GMT http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l579/SeiWoW123/Proofofsurvey.png ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Basically, me and a friend have been speaking about what would enhance and give RP a more realistic feel when we are playing the game. We have thought about a few things and I will list them bellow;
RP Sets: Allot of players use PvP 60 sets for their IC character, of course when playing you only get the choice of one city "skin". On the alliance, if you buy a shield with your honor point you will have a Stormwind color shield. It maybe a nice idea to include other cities skins like Ironforge... ect. Unsheathing and Sheathing: This one will just sound stupid to most, haha. Allot of people like to draw their weapons IC on each other. And if they do so, for example hunters, if they wish to remove their gun have to withdraw their weapons then sheath them to get their gun. Would it be a good idea to implement a new keybinding for Weapon 1, Weapon 2 and Ranged. This would allow more flexibility and I'm sure many would be happy with it. Custom tabard: Allot of people may like to make their own personal tabard instead of using a city faction ones. Another idea could be implementing the guild tabards to have the ability to be in three different colours, For exmaple in Ashbringer there is three different colours of tabards worn by the following; Maxwell Tyrosus - Black - Alexandros Mograine - White/Blue Saiden Dathoran - White/Red Mounts: The ability to change your mounts Armour color and maybe add city factions or (as posted above) a custom banner down the side of it. Imagine in your mind a wolf customized to have any color Armour around its body and city faction banners down its body Personal appearance: For example people describe what their character looks like in a RP add-on if we were allowed the ability to add for example markings or tattoos to your character this would make it seem more realistic. Head slot: My friend has always moaned at not getting to wear a open face helmet and a eye patch. We thought about maybe adding the ability to have a head slot item and a face slot item. So you could wear a helmet and a eye patch for example. Character evolution: This would be a nice idea, for example as a warlock increases in level, their character skin maybe become darker and markings on their skins from the fel. Speaking / Weapons: One that may p*** off allot of players, could be the fact that when you have your weapons drawn and you speak to someone, they are sheathed back to your hips or back! Allot of people I spoke to about it complained. Amour: One that I heard suggested in my Skype call was the ability to change the way your Armour looks? For exmaple color changing and skin changes for having the look of a T10 piece? Texture: This would be mostly for the ability to make your character look very decayed if you are a death knight, the ability to add scars and noticeable injuries. Reminder: These are just opinions from many different people, We just want to see what the community thinks. We dont want any harsh comments on things people may want to see. Please! Post your opinions. And If you got something bad to say about any of the list keep it to yourself. Or contact me in-game. Thanks! --------------------------------------------------- http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l579/SeiWoW123/Proofofsurvey.png |

We have indeed noticed it, and we agree that it is a good thread. In fact we like the thread so much that we linked to it in the Forum Watch section of the latest Community News: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/blog/2146883 What could be interesting to know is if there is one thing that would be more desirable than the rest. Of all the things that could potentially enhance roleplaying, which one would be the best? I suspect many of you have a different opinions on the best way to enhance roleplaying, so another interesting question is if the roleplaying community can come together and reach a consensus to decide on the one thing that would enhance roleplaying the most?!? :-) |

We are following the thread, so no worries ;-) Please keep in mind that we aren't making any promises here, but despite that, we are of course very interested to know what you guys feel is important and what you think could improve RP. Keep up the good posting guys :-) |
