It’s great to hear that you’re taking the time to scan and secure your system – Macs can indeed also be affected by certain malicious software, so it’s always a good idea to be vigilant in this regard even if you’re used to being less of a target than a standard PC user.

I can see that our Accounts team have already been able to secure your account, and to recover all the items and currency from during the compromise, but we’ve also temporarily locked access to your WoW account so that we can alter the compromised details before returning control of the account back to you.

A mail informing you of the new details we need has been sent to your original Battle.net email address, so please ensure you follow all the instructions therein as soon as possible. :)

So glad to hear it, Rukiå – an Authenticator is always a good idea, and if you’re able to keep your new email address mainly for Battle.net use only then even better! :)
