Allure	Questions regarding Faction changeFri, 20. May. 2011 15:05 GMT Hi, I'm considering a faction change (FC) and I've got a couple of questions. If I go throught with it, I am changing from Horde to Alliance. Ive read the old FAQ site, but I'm not 100% sure it is updated http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/faction-change/index.xml - Will all items be converted? For example Manual of Eviscerate IX and other items that are not longer obtainable. - Argent Tournament achievements: I've completed all of the achievements, will they be converted? The guide says that they won't, but i'd like to know 100%. - I've completed all quests in zones like Twillight Highlands and Vashj'ir. I've read that the achievements will stand, but do I have to complete the alliance questlines in the same zones after my FC? If so, will my reputation with Dragonmaw be reset to neutral with the Wildhammer Clan or will I continue to gain reputation from Revered with Wildhammer Clan? - Today I am exalted with 45 factions. Will this still stand after a FC. For example: I grinded both the Sholazar Basin factions to exalted. Will the new alliance character get the same amount of factions? (The number, not the achievements). - I took a break before Cataclysm launched, and when I returned to the game i noticed all my gold earned for the Justly Reward achievements (gold earned throught questing) had been reset. Will this be resat again if I FC? - Will I loose the companions from the Horde facions? For example will I loose the Cockroach from Undercity, or will it be converted to a Darnasussian pet? This is my alt. character. I'm considering faction changing my main character. _Allure

May. 2011 18:05 GMT Hello Allure, What you’ll need to read through is our fully up-to-date Faction Change FAQ from our official Support site, as hopefully this should provide additional information to answer your queries fully. :) Faction Change FAQ part 1 https://eu.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_GB&articleId=39810 Faction Change FAQ part 2 http://eu.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_GB&articleId=39811 I can still, however, try to answer your specific questions here; As long as an unobtainable item is not a quest item or faction-specific item, there’s no reason it would be altered during the Faction Change process. Your Argent Tournament achievements and previously completed quests will not carry across in any way at all. You may find the counter for quests completed in specific zones appears somewhat altered after a Faction Change, but you shouldn’t lose any quests/zone achievements you’ve already been awarded (although you’ll obviously be able to complete a whole new set of quests anyway, and see the counter rise accordingly). As for the reputation conversion, you should find yourself at the same level with the Wildhammer Clan as you previously were with the Dragonmaw Clan, these being equivalent factions. As long as you haven’t any entirely Horde-specific factions at Exalted (i.e. ones that would not ever have an Alliance equivalent), you shouldn’t notice any difference in your Exalted reputation total. If you’re specifically referring to the gold total for the ‘Justly Rewarded’ achievement itself, rather than its earlier version ‘The Bread Winner’, then this isn’t related to Cataclysm but is actually a side-effect of this particular achievement having been added only in the most recent Patch 4.1, and only therefore counting up since that time. This has already been reported on for evaluation by our QA and development teams, but either way you shouldn’t notice any change to this statistic or value following on from a Faction Change. As you can hopefully see from the FAQ I link above, all companion pets should remain exactly as they are. Hopefully the above is of help! :)

May. 2011 19:05 GMT Nope, you shouldn’t lose any of your Champion’s Seals as part of the process, although obviously if you were saving them for something that had a reputation requirement attached then you might find you need to work back up towards that again. :)
