In our on-going quest to provide the most [EPIC] Customer Service ever, we’re proud to announce to you today that we’ve upgraded our Support Knowledgebase to be better than ever! Taking feedback from players and our support staff alike, you’ll find that the new Support Site is streamlined to provide you more information and a seamless line of contact to our Customer Support representatives.

You can find the brand new site here: http://eu.battle.net/support/

Among the most major changes, you’ll find:

  • An improved intelligent search engine, featuring predictive text and generating more relevant topics.
  • Hot Issues, highlighting our most popular support articles measured by player inquiries and searches.
  • Suggested results, linking together related articles to reliably provide you with additional information.
  • Breaking News, a new platform of communication for Customer Support to provide you the latest information on the most recent popular topics and petitions.

Some of you who have used our Support Knowledgebase and articles in the past may be concerned about the migration to a newly designed website. Not to worry! All old support article links will automatically redirect to their new location.

We invite you to check out the changes and experiment with the new website at your earliest convenience! Should you have feedback on the new site or wish to report any bugs or issues with its functionality, feel free to add to this thread, and don’t forget to tell all your friend’s about it too!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The support site ticket system needs me to be logged in to use it. What should I do if I can’t log in (compromised account, forgotten password, etc)?

  • Is there an option to turn off the email notification spam when there's a change to my open ticket(s)?
    • There is indeed – you’ll need to be logged into your Account Management page, and you can then find the tick box under the ‘Communication Preferences’ section in the ‘Settings’ drop-down menu (https://eu.battle.net/account/management/settings/change-communication.html).

The default option is ‘on’, so please be aware that un-checking this will also prevent you from receiving notifications in situations where this may become more important (retrieving a compromised or hacked account you no longer have access to, for example).

  • My question isn’t listed here!
    • No problem, simply post a reply and we’ll do our best to answer it for you.

    Greetings Disesty,

    I’m afraid to say that what you and your friend are experienced isn’t a bug at all, and the Scroll of Resurrection feature has been deliberately disabled for a time while we perform some necessary maintenance on the service;

Unfortunately we don’t have any specific information or indications as to when the feature may return again but, as mentioned in the blog post, we’ll obviously make sure to announce it as publicly as possible once it’s back.

Apologies for any disappointment this may cause you in the meantime, however.

    Greetings Memixxe,

I don’t believe we’re aware of any specific connection problems having been occurring recently, so it might be worth looking into whether this could be an isolated issue or something that could benefit from some assistance by our Technical Support team.

If you continue to experience connection issues, please don’t hesitate to check out our Technical Support Forum and post therein. :)

    Greetings also Lovelyalice,

Unfortunately it’s not possible to manually alter one’s registered country within Battle.net Account Management, so I’m afraid you’ll need to get in touch with our Account and Payment team for further assistance in doing so.

They’ll likely require proof of residency within the country you’d like to alter your account to (usually a utility bill will suffice), and once you’ve provided this it should be a simple matter for us to update your details. Good luck! :)
