I've been trying to set my BT to "mynsc" since the release of the service. Everytime I get the same error:

An error has occurred.
The name you have chosen for your BattleTag is in violation of our naming guidelines. Please choose a different name.

I have reviewed the naming policy for BattleTag and I have no clue what rule I am breaking. I've also been using this nick for almost 15 years in video games, including World of Warcraft and Starcraft and I never had any problems.

I'm guessing it's just an annoying bug. For example, 'y' is considered a consonant in some cases (although it's not in my nick), so maybe your name filter is seeing me trying to enter a name that has 5 consecutive consonants, something which understandably might raise some red flags.
