 Zarfen | [BUG] Heroic BlackthornMon, 16. Jan. 2012 17:01 GMT OK, so this bug has caused wipes for us at least 4-5 times now over the course if 2 kills (~160 attempts overall on the boss). We're on 10M Heroic Warmaster Blackthorn and basically, sometimes a person just randomly dies to "nothing". It looks to me like the explosion effect from a Twilight Barrage, however on all occasions there has been NO swirly blue indicator on the deck of the ship, and NO barrage coming down from the sky, there is literally the explosion itself visible for 0.5 seconds and then death. Also the death log in WoW, Recount, Skada, any addon you can choose, does not recognise the cause of death and just says "Unknown" as you can see in the chat frame in the video below. Anyway we've recorded a video of it occuring, happens to me (druid) video slows down when it's about to occur, I'm in the bottom-left of the screen. Due to the number of 'insta-gib' mechanics in this particular encounter it's difficult to know exactly where the problem might be without proper investigation. I second Marcuss' advice that you post this in our bug report sticky; that will allow us to look into this properly for you. I appreciate that you may have reviewed the combat log already and found nothing, but it would still be helpful to us to have it, complete and unchanged (at least the encounter portion of it, anyway). Please include it in your post, and for extra brownie points, wrap it in [code] tags. :) |

The command /combatlog will dump everything in your combat log into a file, found at <your WoW folder>\Logs\WoWCombatLog.txt From there you have two options: if the relevant part of the log is small enough you can post it here on the forums (I recommend wrapping it in [code] tags), but if it's simply too big you can instead open a ticket through our support site and add it as an attachment. https://eu.battle.net/support/en/ticket/submit Hope that helps. :) |
