As Fiskerdin has already helpfully replied, if you’re referring to the account you’re currently posting from, there’s no need to merge it as it’s already part of the Battle.net account tied to the email address you originally registered with us. :)

Do post again and let us know if you were talking about a different WoW account not already merged under any other existing Battle.net accounts, however.

As I mentioned above, the account you’re posting from is already merged to Battle.net, and it’s not the merging part that provides you with 30 days of free gametime – that actually comes from simply upgrading the game from Starter Edition. :)

If you’ve purchase physical copies of the various expansions, all you’ll need to do in order to add them to your account (and have the gametime credited as a result) would be to visit Account Management (https://eu.battle.net/account/management/index.xml), select your WOW1 account, and then click on the box on the right-hand side to upgrade (which has a variety of options, one of which should hopefully mention already having a Game Key).

You do indeed need a CD-Key (or Game Key), rather than a gametime code (or prepaid gamecard) to upgrade your account.

With your account being a Starter Edition account, the large box on the right-hand side of the screen when you’ve selected your WOW1 account in Account Management should offer you several options;

• Digital Purchase
• Enter Game Key
• Order Retail Copy

If you’ve already purchased physical boxes of all the expansions (hopefully including Classic Wow, which you’ll need in order to upgrade), you can simply click on the middle one and enter your CD-Key (or Authentication Key, if you’re referring to the CD-Key normally found inside any of our game boxes). :)
