Drbigdamage | DS ninjaSun, 29. Jan. 2012 11:01 GMT Hello there , yesterday i was in a pug DS , normal mode , and at Blackhorn a Protection token dropped , i was the 2nd biggest roll after a Druid that obviously can't use it , and he said that someone traded him and he didn't know who he gave the token to . I latter checked the armorys of the people that needed the token and found out that <snip> a hunter on my server has it . I was wondering if a GM could help me out and give me my well deserverd Protection Token from Normal mode . Edit: Removing the character name in question from your post. |

Jan. 2012 17:01 GMT Greetings Drbigdamage, While the specifics of the incident you mention aren’t fully described, in terms of the loot rules set forth prior to the run taking place (nor the looting method used, in fact), I’m afraid this sounds like the type of situation where it regrettably wouldn’t be possible for our in-game team to intervene and take any action. We certainly do not condone the practice of “ninja” looting, and indeed we have a fairly comprehensive policy on the subject, which I shall link to below, but if the Raid Leader or Master Looter (assuming you were using Master Looter for the run) mistakenly gave the token to a player that could not use it then this regrettably wouldn’t really constitute the level of ‘scam’ that we look for when attempting to investigate and action cases such as these. The fact that the item was then further traded, and subsequently used by the player that received it, means that we would obviously only accept a request from the item holder to move the item across to your character (within the appropriate time-frame), but would never seek to try and effectively ‘punish’ that recipient by forcibly removing the item from them. If you are interested in reading up more about our loot scam policies, in order to ensure that you’re covered in the future if you happen to find yourself in a situation in which the Master Looter deliberately misleads others into believing they have a better chance at any items than may in fact transpire, please take a look at our Policy Spotlight on the subject; Policy Spotlight - “Ninja Looting” http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/900641023 |
