Trueblood | Question about loot lock in lfrSun, 29. Jan. 2012 21:01 GMT Hello, I have had some problems with Raid Finder lately. Yesterday I was going for The Siege of Wyrmrest Temple. I died on Morchok and accidentally clicked on release. As the encounter was still in progress I was not able to re-enter the instance therefore I did not get the chance to loot and I did not get achievement for the first boss kill. That's fine. However I still got loot locked for Morchok. Made a ticket about it and got the response that it was working as intended. Today I was doing Fall of Deathwing. On the last encounter we wiped. I was on my way back, already inside the instance but only on the top of the temple when someone started the encounter. As being afraid that I would not be able to roll for not participating in the kill I left the group. Now that I wanted to find a group to finish Madness I noticed that I got loot locked for that encounter too. I was in the raid for only the first few seconds of the fight also not in the right place. Now is it working as intended too? If so you guys should really look into how loot locking works. Thanks for your time. |

Jan. 2012 12:01 GMT If you contributed toward the first encounter, Morchok, as in you did damage or healed someone, then you should have been eligible for loot even after releasing from your corpse (please note that achievements will, by design, not be given if you release). You can open a ticket if you'd like this particular case looked into. The second encounter, however, is working correctly. Simply being in the instance during the fight, even if you leave before it's finished, will save you to it. |

Possibly, and this is why we encourage people not to release/resurrect outside. However, our thinking has always been that contributing to a boss fight earns you the right to receive loot. Any items that were rolled for and won by other members of the raid are forfeit (unless they contact us and nominate the affected player), but things like tokens or quest items can usually be reimbursed. |
