Solidqt | QuestionTue, 31. Jan. 2012 01:01 GMT My question is whether or not I should bother pursuing my issue in a ticket considering the depth of the issue and the likelihood of me seeing an outcome I'd want. Today I was involved in an Icecrown 25 HC clear run where Invincible's Reins dropped from Lich King. All run we had been using the master looter system where by the leader would link the specific item and would then ask the players to roll and the highest roller would win, he was also advertising the run as 'nothing reserved' in trade chat. Prior to pulling Lich King the raid leader said the words 'Fail = no mount', we then pulled the boss and a warrior failed the 2nd shadowtrap and was blown off the top (can provide a WoL report showing who took damage from 'shadowtrap' along with a twitch video POV from a player in the raid where you can see the warrior actually runs over the trap). We killed the boss and the mount dropped, the raid leader told the raid to roll group by group as to avoid confusion and we went group1 roll, group2 etc and the warrior who failed rolled a 98, the raid was then spammed by people naming him as the one who failed the shadow trap and should by the leaders logic be ineligible for loot, I then rolled the same as him. Various people in the raid then said how I should receive the mount because the warrior failed and should have had his roll disallowed. The raid leader after a couple of minutes of 'checking the rolls' looted the mount to himself and left the raid. I then whispered him where he said he had 'paid the warrior 150k for the mount', however the warrior was later spamming trade saying how the paladin had ninja'd the loot from him. I'm wondering basically a) what if anything Blizzard will do and b) is there any chance I'll actually receive the mount? Any past persons' opinion who has past experience with a situation like this would be appreciated. |

It's always worth contacting us to see if there's something that can be done, though it's wise to make yourself aware of our policies before hand so that you know what to expect. In many cases we're able to investigate and take action against ninja looters even if we're unable to redistribute the item(s). For more information on our ninja looting policy and what you can do to protect yourself, please refer to our spotlight: Policy Spotlight – “Ninja Looting" http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/900641023 |
