Noscarehomie | I bought the game but it still says starter edition?Wed, 08. Feb. 2012 11:02 GMT Hey, I bought wow in store 3 or 4 years ago and only got around to installing it a few days ago. After all the downloads, the folder is now at about 30GB. It still says starter edition. Why is this and how do the editions work?? I cant use the auction house or do anything fun. |

Feb. 2012 13:02 GMT Hi Noscarehomie, Redeeming an authentication key (aka CD key) is certainly something you'd remember doing, and indeed, the account you're posting hasn't been upgraded from a trial account. Here's a quote from our support article that might help you find the key: Where is my Authentication key located? Feb. 2012 14:02 GMT Without the manual the key is unfortunately lost, and without the receipt (and taking the amount of time into account) it's unlikely that you'll be able to get a replacement from the original retailer. That essentially leaves you with the option of buying the game again if you'd still like to upgrade. You can upgrade directly via account management or buy it via our online store; digital gives you a CD key via email that you can redeem, or there's the traditional boxed option. If it's any help, WoW is actually half price at the moment. :) http://eu.blizzard.com/store/browse.xml?f=p:210000104,p:221003197,p:221004377,p:221003877,p:221003557 |
