This is nothing I have done! There are now systems in place to allow players to take over leadership in these cases. http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2723297297 Sincerely, <snip> Game Master Blizzard Entertainment Apperently its not okey for hackers to take my money and account but it is for blizzard... awsome! Edit - Please do not name and shame. |

Feb. 2012 13:02 GMT This system has been in place for a while now Agamendor and previously to it's implementation, players who were guild leaderless for more than 30 days were able to petition in and ask for a leadership change. By allowing players to do this for themselves it has helped with the smooth running of the guild and cut down on petitions allowing us to help other players faster. Bear in mind that the leadership is transferred to the next longest running officer rather than randomly assigned. They in turn can grant ownership to whomever they wish. If you are unhappy about losing control of the guild, then either ensure that you are the sole member if you take a break for longer than 30 days or transfer the leadership to someone who can look after the guild while you are gone. |
![]() Tailyda | Blizzard really dont whant ppl to come back and play.Sat, 04. Feb. 2012 13:02 GMT If it was your stuff Milme, why not put it into your own bank? If you wish to have a guild that is just for your own personal storage, why have other players in it? If you have a guild and everyone is contributing towards the guild bank in terms of time, effort and items/gold then it's not really "your stuff". By going absent for more than 30 days and leaving a guild leaderless, as Faylanna points out, it makes it harder for everyone else left in the guild. |
![]() Tailyda | Blizzard really dont whant ppl to come back and play.Sat, 04. Feb. 2012 13:02 GMT It was my guild, i had members in the guild to raise the lvl of it, it did say that i was going away in the information to all the members. So, to protect myself from all the hackers WoW got i stashed my gold/items in the guild bank. Becose the hackers first look in the char bank and inventory.. The also go for guild banks as well, especially if you're a guild leader. If you wish to protect yourself from attacks on your account then it is far easier to get an authenticator and ensure that your account details and computer are secure.
