Nutkin | A quick questionMon, 20. Feb. 2012 16:02 GMT Hi, My partner recently recieved a permanent forum ban for using a swear word, P**S Now he was upset and appealed, for what he thought was a GM / Forum Mod being a bit too heavy handed. His appeal was turned down and it was pointed out the use of obscene language is not tolerated. Ok Fine. My problem with all this is that while I was doing some quests in silverpine the other day, one of the quest NPC's suddenly stated the phrase (in standard wow speech bubbles) "I think I just P**Sed my pants" Now...how is it pheasable that my partner gets a permanent forum ban for using that word (and it was not used in malice) but in the same context as a quest NPC in game. May I also add that the word was also cencsored on the forum post, but was clear to see in game on screen by this NPC. I only post this as he is currently running the realm craft thread, raid thread and is also an active TGC trader on the realm. The ban has caused alot of bother frankly for what does seem to be a mediocre reason. Thanks Yvette |
